Cancer Survivor Gives Back

We love seeing children getting better and giving back! Last year Carly Allphin's family stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia for a few months while she received treatment for Ewing Sarcoma.

Carly had a total of nine tumors throughout her body but now she is happily cancer free!

Carly recently found herself thinking about all the other kids she went through treatment with and weren't able to get better as quickly as she did. She also thought about the positive things like having her family close by and wanted a way to give back to the ones who helped her through it all.

To say thank you, Carly and her family presented the RMHC with a check for $630. And thanks to this donation a family can now stay there for only $10 a night for a little more than two months!

Coca-Cola Supports the Mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities November 27,2017 Madison MacDougall One of Ronald McDonald House Charities largest donors is Coca-Cola and they have recently shared what our charity does and they impact it makes of families when their child is sick.   Coke supports many other charities but, helping family and children stay together is very important to them. They support use in many ways such as product donations, money donations and charity items to auction.    In this article Coca-Cola is sharing how far and wide Ronald McDonald House Charities support families.   Specifically, this address the Ronald McDonald House in Australia and an Australian family that needed our help.   The article also touches on how having volunteers come to make meals at the house creates a homier feel. PLM: "Give more than you take"

PLM: "Give more than you take" November 28, 2017 - Claire Butler  The Purple Land Management's philosophy is "give more than you take."   Last year PLM's Fort Worth donated over 100 pounds of food to the local food bank.  This year they decided to continue giving back to their community by donating to different organizations each quarter. The first quarter they chose the Ronald McDonald House.  Their goal is to collect any supplies RMHC needs for the families staying there.
