A golden retriever named Max, stopped by a Ronald McDonald House in Atlanta, GA. The children loved Max, and got to enjoy time with him when they were not in the hospital receiving treatments. It was a great bonding experience for the children to get to spend time with an animal. Max's canine assistants instructor, Kristen LaFevers, said it was a great experience for him and that he blew her away with how gentle, aware and sweet he was with all of the families. Max has been trained to greet people nicely, and is aware of what a person’s physical situation is. “Thank you for bringing joy to our families,” Atlanta Ronald McDonald Charities said on its Facebook page Thursday.
